Situated on the shores of the majestic Flåvatn, part of the historic Telemark Canal, Kilen Camping is an oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. With a sandy beach reminiscent of the Mediterranean and water temperatures typically between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, our water paradise is the perfect destination for a relaxing beach holiday. Our guests can enjoy a range of amenities such as water trampolines, water slides, and a bathing platform, as well as the opportunity to unwind in our delightful sauna or take an idyllic boat trip on the clear waters.

Activities in Seljord and Bø, a short drive from the campsite
Kilen Camping offers a wide range of activities for all ages, perfect for exploring the beautiful landscape of Kilen and nearby attractions. Start your day with a boat trip on Flåvann. For fishing enthusiasts, our waters offer excellent opportunities to catch the day's catch in scenic surroundings.
Hikers will find a variety of trails offering everything from easy walks to more challenging mountain hikes, all with fantastic views over Telemark. We can recommend a hike up to the summit of Næring.
Based at Kilen Camping, activities in Seljord and Bø are not far away. Seljord is known for its country and dance festivals in the summer, featuring well-known bands, and especially Dyrsku'n on the 2nd weekend in September, which attracts around 100,000 people from across the country each year. For families with children, Bø Sommarland, Scandinavia's largest water park, is a short drive away and offers exciting water activities and entertainment for a fun-filled day.

Located by the idyllic Flåvatn, you'll find Kilen Camping – a holiday paradise for the whole family. Here, we have something for everyone, young and old alike! Kilen Camping boasts a stunning location surrounded by beautiful nature at Flåvatn, which is part of the magnificent Telemark Canal. We have 85 permanent pitches for caravans all year round, as well as short-term pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents for those who prefer it.
Additionally, we offer 11 rental cabins of various sizes, all in fantastic locations. At Kilen Camping, you'll find a shallow, child-friendly sandy beach stretching 250 meters, with water temperatures typically ranging between 20-25 degrees Celsius. In the water, we have water trampolines, water slides, and bathing platforms, making Kilen Camping a perfect choice for a beach holiday!
